State-of-the-art portable equipment and fully trained and qualified Hard Band Industries personnel provide onsite application of hard banding for drill pipe, drill collars, and Hevi-Wate transition drill pipe, resulting in superior abrasion and wear protection. Standard tungsten carbide and premium hard banding materials are available.

Hard Band Industries is one of the few companies in the industry that provide plasma removal along with hard banding services. The ability to easily and effectively remove existing hard banding gives customers another cost-effective solution.

Many times Hard band is not applied properly so removal and reapplication must be done. We see this problem in the field on a regular basis for the following reasons:

1. Incompatibility of two (or more) wires: Different products have different chemistry, therefore, they are not compatible with one another.

2. Premature re-application of Hard band
